Penske with Dominating Weekend

With the first time all year the Freaky Fast Racing league made its trip to a track where turning left and right are very common. Sonoma was the first of two tracks the league took to Sunday night and it did not disappoint. The 21 of Chris Morse set fast time and was a force to be reckon with all night long. Morse was the class of the field showing he could come from the back to the front all race long. Chris Morse and teammate Josh Arnold racked up with a top 2 finish for team Penske.

Dega would be another interesting story with it being filled with single car teams making the race and racing around our known top completion, it would turn out to be a wreck fest until the very last 10 laps when fuel mileage came into play when 3rd place runner Matt Hunsucker was 2 laps short on fuel and teammate Devin was 1 lap. Both pitted early leaving team Penske once again to battle it out. Josh Arnold ran out of fuel in the tri-oval with teammate Chris Morse having enough to finish but not enough to do a celebration needing a push to victory lane.

Due to time concerns we did not have enough time in victory lane to get our usual follow up interviews. we were able to catch with League Owner Matt Hunsucker on Monday morning regarding the league status and the previous two races.

"this league was made up of drivers that wanted to be interactive and be a part of a racing community and family, we seem to be struggling with it. it is very possible we may go on a limb and say we need more recruits to be in the league because its no sense in wasting time of everyone to race a 5 man league when you can start a public lobby and get the same reaction.the league will be given 2 weeks when owner (matt hunsucker) returns to get their act together and have racecars show up if not the league may be going down a spiral tunnel. as for the racing I have seen some of the best racing ever in this league as well as clean racing. Chris Morse and Josh Arnold have came in and dominated the league since Devin got started at the first of the year on a hot streak. I hope to everyone sees the message ive provided and takes it into consideration and we all try to move forward."
